Find Putnam Court Dates

Start with the right court. A Putnam County court calendar only helps once you know which court holds the case, since Superior, State, Juvenile, Probate, Magistrate, and municipal matters each run on their own schedule. Once you have that match, the calendar entry may list a judge, the court type, and a setting code. Treat those details as a starting point. The case docket or an issued notice often carries more exact instructions than the calendar line itself. Before you appear, confirm the setting with the clerk or court office responsible for that case, and check that the calendar source you used is the current one for Putnam County.

The Putnam County Court Calendar

The clerk publishes a Master Court Calendar for Superior, State, and Juvenile scheduling. It leads to judge and category PDFs rather than an interactive date search. A Putnam case may appear on an Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit view or the separate State Court schedule.

No official source promises a fixed refresh rate. A calendar is a schedule, not the full docket. It may omit prior filings or a change not yet reflected in the PDF. The circuit calls posted calendars general guides and directs readers to verify dates and times with the county clerk.

How to Find Your Court Date

Use every relevant channel when a hearing is near. The issued notice and responsible court remain the best sources for exact instructions.

  1. Read the citation, summons, notice, or order. Record the court and case number.
  2. Check the Master Court Calendar and the correct judge PDF. Compare it with the clerk Case Search or Georgia E-Access route.
  3. Call Trevor J. Addison's clerk at (706) 485-4501 for Superior, State, or Juvenile matters.
  4. Call Probate at (706) 485-5476, Magistrate at (706) 485-4306, or Eatonton Municipal/police at (706) 485-3551 for their dockets.
  5. Visit the responsible clerk counter or public terminal and ask counsel to confirm appearance instructions.
  6. Confirm the time, room, security process, and any continuance before travel.

Reading a Court Setting

A setting is one scheduled event, not a case outcome. Read it with the latest docket event or order.

DateThe scheduled day, subject to a later order.
TimeA calendar-call or individual time; verify which applies.
CourtroomThe printed room or location.
JudgeThe judge or initials keyed to the legend.
Setting TypeCC calendar call, MD motion day, AR arraignment, PD plea day, or TC trial calendar.

Resets, Continuances, and Cancellations

Putnam sources do not publish a reset code, posting window, or complete continuance process. A later entry does not itself erase the first setting. Look for a filed order, then confirm with the clerk.

Weather may override a calendar. A January 2026 Ocmulgee order changed Putnam operations due to winter weather. Check Georgia emergency judicial orders before travel.

Putnam Calendar PDF Channels

The 2026 Ocmulgee Circuit Calendar gives the circuit view. A separate 2026 State Court Calendar covers State Court. The Master Calendar is a directory of schedules, not a search form.

Putnam Judge and Circuit Views

A judge calendar and circuit grid answer different questions. Judge PDFs narrow the setting class. The circuit PDF shows county and judge assignments. State Court has its own schedule.

Putnam Court Calendar Codes

The legend lists SUP Superior, STC State, and JUV Juvenile. Categories include CV civil, CR criminal, CS child support, and TR traffic. Other labels include NJ non-jury, SC status calendar, GJ grand jury, SS special set, PAC Parent Accountability Court, and OoC out of county.

MD
Motion Day, not trial.
PD
Plea Day, not proof of a plea.
PAC
A program calendar, not a result.
TR
Traffic, not proof of guilt.

Juvenile access is stricter, so details may be limited.

Putnam Traffic Calendar Split

A TR entry on State Court's calendar may concern county traffic. An Eatonton citation uses a separate municipal channel. Never infer a city date from the county PDF.

Compare a State citation, PayYourTix, calendar, and clerk confirmation. Eatonton uses EZ Court Pay and Municipal Court. New citations may take 7 to 21 business days to appear. Delay does not mean dismissal.

See the Eatonton court docket or case search.

Putnam Remote Hearing Limits

Eatonton preserves a 2021 video-conference standing order, but no current universal Putnam Zoom link was published. An old emergency notice is not a current invitation. The absence of a public link also does not prove that remote participation is unavailable in a specific case. It means the current notice or an answer from the assigned court is needed.

Use the latest order or court confirmation. Ask whether the setting is in person, remote, or hybrid, which platform applies, and whether a private link will be sent to counsel or the parties. A calendar code alone does not answer those questions. Do not join through an old link or treat a prior emergency practice as a standing local rule.

Verify Putnam Hearing Details

The best confirmation source depends on the docket. Trevor J. Addison's office keeps the Superior, State, and Juvenile files, but the assigned judge may control a setting through an order. Probate, Magistrate, and Eatonton Municipal Court maintain separate operational channels. Calling the wrong office can produce a valid answer about the wrong calendar.

Give the clerk the exact court, case number, party name, and date shown on the notice. Ask the clerk to read back the next setting, setting type, time, and location. If the case number is unknown, explain the case type before offering a name. Common names and cases in different courts can otherwise be confused.

Keep a copy of the notice, the current PDF page, and any later order. Write down when confirmation occurred and which office supplied it. That record cannot change a court order, but it helps a party track which source was current when travel or counsel arrangements were made.

Putnam Calendar Versus Docket

The Master Court Calendar answers when a category of court business is scheduled. The case docket answers what has been filed and what the court has done. A calendar may list CR, TR, MD, or TC with a judge and date. It may not include the complaint, motion, service return, plea, judgment, or later order that explains the event.

Use the clerk's Case Search options when a calendar line needs context. The local Icon route reached a VIEWONLY login during research and did not expose anonymous query fields. Georgia E-Access routes Putnam Superior and State searches to PeachCourt, where account access may be required. Neither limitation turns the calendar PDF into a complete case file.

When the portal and calendar disagree, check the newest filed notice or order and call the responsible office. A result marked disposed does not automatically erase a later enforcement or review setting. Likewise, a setting on a PDF does not establish that the hearing occurred or reveal the court's ruling.

Putnam Special Calendar Labels

Several local labels require care. PAC identifies Parent Accountability Court. SS means Special Set. OoC means Out of County. Each label describes where a matter sits on the schedule, not the merits of a case. A PAC entry does not disclose compliance or outcome, and an OoC entry should prompt a check of the county and courtroom.

Calendar Call, shown as CC, is often an organizational setting. Motion Day, MD, concerns motions. Non-Jury, NJ, distinguishes a setting from a jury calendar. Status Calendar, SC, can track progress without deciding the case. Trial Calendar, TC, may identify a trial period or call rather than a guaranteed individual trial start time.

Arraignments use AR and Plea Day uses PD. Those labels identify planned proceedings. They do not prove a plea, conviction, or sentence. The chronological docket and resulting order must be read before stating what happened.

What To Do If You Miss a Setting

Contact the named court at once. Ask whether the judge entered failure-to-appear action, a warrant, bond action, or a new date. The clerk can describe the record but cannot give legal advice.

Do not rely on the next posted calendar alone. A missed appearance can create a separate docket event that needs direct action, even if another date later appears. Ask for the exact title and date of any order entered after the missed setting. If counsel represents the party, send counsel the notice and the details from the clerk rather than trying to arrange a new date through an unrelated office.

Missed a Setting? A missed date may lead to a warrant or bond consequences.

Call the responsible Putnam County court and contact counsel now.

Ask a licensed Georgia attorney for advice before appearing if a warrant may exist.
